FAWHE Foundation (Faqeri Afghan Women’s Health & Education Foundation) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Afghan women through education, healthcare training, and life-changing opportunities. FAWHE was founded by Afghan women who understand firsthand the challenges, barriers, and dangers Afghan girls face when seeking education.
Our Mission
We believe that education can heal, empower, and rebuild lives.
Our mission is to provide Afghan women with pathways to online high school, accelerated completion programs, and university study abroad, giving them opportunities they are no longer allowed to have in their own country.
Programs
1. High School Diploma Program (4-Year Track) Our 4-year High School Diploma Program supports Afghan girls who are beginning or continuing their high school journey. FAWHE sponsors tuition, online learning tools, and academic support to help students earn an internationally recognized high school diploma. This pathway prepares young Afghan women for university admission and future professional opportunities.
2. Elder High School Completion Program (2-Year Track) This program is designed for older Afghan women and young adults who were unable to complete their education due to war, restrictions, or displacement. FAWHE provides a 2-year accelerated high school completion program, allowing students to finish their diploma at a faster pace while balancing family or work responsibilities. Our goal is to give every woman a second chance at education.
